History Overview

September 1912
Four movie companies were consolidated to establish Nikkatsu Corporation for production, distribution and promotion of movies.
June 1954
Nikkatsu Movie Studio (the largest those days in Asia) was completed in Chofu-shi, Tokyo
August 1989
Opened the broadcasting station for communication satellite business in the Studio to enter the communication market.
March 1990
Started broadcasting for NECO (CATV stations) and Rainbow Channel (hotel CCTV) from the communication satellite station.
March 1998
Digital studio facilities were built in the Chofu Studio.
September 2002
Celebrated 90th anniversary.
